Characteristics of the wood
The coloration of boag oak is usually rather dark due to a natural chemical process during that thousends of years. The main reason are tiny Minerals in the surrounding/ water, which provoke that reaction with the oak. As you can recognise, there are partly slightly greyish clouds between the almost dark parts in the Wood. That is a characteristic of bog oak. The reason, we din´t no in detail.
